Encompassing roughly 32,000 acres of land, the Horicon National Wildlife Refuge provides visitors with a year-round facility for recreational activities such as hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, hunting, fishing and birdwatching. Nature classes are available at the visitor's center, which is open Monday to Friday and weekends in the springs and fall.
