Encompassing roughly 32,000 acres of land, the Horicon National Wildlife Refuge provides visitors with a year-round facility for recreational activities such as hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, hunting, fishing and birdwatching. The refuge was established in 1941 and is home to a number of wildlife spieces
